Myself and many other job seeker visa wanting folks spent most of last night outside of the visa office lining up for a chance at an appointment. My husband and I got there at 1am and waited until 7am for this opportunity to apply for a job seeker visa. Why did we all do this? What was it like? What was the result? You'll have to listen to the above episode to find out.
Although I come to this experience with an American passport, I think some of the info in this episode could make this experience less painful for anyone going through this rather bizarre process.

Below is a screenshot of the Table of Content page I talked about in this episode. I removed some of my personal details from this image but it seemed to get a good response from everyone at the visa office that handled our docs so might be worth creating one for your application.

I found this Berlin Anmeldung Stories podcast a few weeks ago and really like it. It looks they may have stopped recording after one season but I really hope not. If anyone knows the Creators, please put me in contact. Thanks. I highly recommend this podcast for a further taste of the process of becoming legal in Germany as a foreigner.
And here is a recent hilarious episode of The Germany Experience Podcast (formerly Expat Life Germany) where Shaun talks to a German friend about her experiences in a visa office with her foreign friend. It is SO interesting to hear her reaction to this system.
If you have or know of a podcast episode that has a similar visa or government office experience episode please let me know and I will gladly add it here.
