It’s tough to get perspective on your own podcast, even if it's a practical business podcast. That’s where my podcast consulting services come in. Together, we will tackle the things you need to achieve podcast growth and/or focus on any specific issues you’re encountering.

We can do a one off consultation session or build in regular check ins. It all depends on your pain points, needs and budget.

My service offerings change as I learn and grow because I'm a lifelong learner. I'm guessing you are too! For example, right now, in early 2023, I'm leaning heavily into using optimizing YouTube for solopreneur podcasts. Podcasting changes and grows quickly but you don't need to keep up with everything because I'm here to do it for you!

Podcast community strategies, growth tracking, workflow improvements, content ideas & more.

Our consulting session can be focused around any of the following topics, according to your specific needs:
  • Professional content analysis and recommendations: what's your podcast why and how is your content delivering this?
  • audience analysis: who is your ideal solopreneur podcast audience? What do they need? How do they consume content?
  • Practical community building tips for solopreneur podcasts
  • workflow: who does what task and with what tools? Are there better tools that will make this the process easier? Are there service professionals that can take some podcast work off your plate?
  • Equipment: Does your solopreneur podcast sound as good as it can for the budget that you  have available for it? What equipment is available that can improve the sound quality (and thus build your audio trust factor)?

You'll Benefit From My:

  • U.S. and global podcasting knowledge: years of experience interviewing global podcasters on Geopats Podcasting and on LinkedIn and Twitter
  • Industry connections and wide range of knowledge, especially geared toward the independent podcaster: tapped into quality resources to save you time and find the best answers and solutions
  • Always up to date on the podcasting industry: knowledge about who’s doing what, what’s changing, opportunities you should tap into, future proofing
  • Perspective as an independent podcaster and enthusiastic, engaged podcast listener
  • Podcast editing experience and learning process: from an independent podcaster experimenting with Audacity to teaching myself various DAWs including Adobe Audition and Hindenburg
  • Unique approach to podcasting with a sense of play and connection

My Experience in the Podcasting Space
  • Owner of Podcast Editing Plus: a global community of podcast editors that includes a newsletter, YouTube live events, a podcast, LinkedIn group and more

My podcast origin story

When I started The Geopats Podcast back in 2017, I did so with a curious mind and a lot of experimentation. My passion and curiosity for podcasting grew and grew because I wanted to understand how to sound better, tell stories better and find the right audience for my projects.  So I dove into the many resources available on podcast recording, editing, promotion and growth, connected with the podcasting community, and learned a lot. This all helped me rethink many aspects of my podcast and create more efficiently and intentionally. Little did I realize then that I was building my solopreneur podcasting business but that's how it started.

In Spring 2020 I started editing podcasts for clients and that's when the real magic happened. All of the knowledge, (mistakes), experience, and information I'd been learning were super helpful to my business podcasting clients.

Let's do this!

Consultation rates start at $150 per hour and include a recording of the session (if you wish) AND a follow up email with any resources mentioned. Contact me to get a session on the calendar.
