David Humphreys and Melissa Joulwan are the hosts of Strong Sense of Place, a podcast and web site dedicated to literary travel and books with vivid settings. In each episode of their show, they explore one destination and talk about what makes that place different from everywhere else on earth. Then they recommend books set in that destination and talk to a special guest.

And the the tent fort

(LEFT) This is a screenshot of our Zoom video call for this episode. On the top is me (Steph) and on the bottom is Melissa and David's recording tent fort. They ducked down for the photo cause we wanted to get the full fort for you to see. You can clearly see David's orange mic on the right and Melissa's black mic on the left.

And BELOW is the rack that the fort is based on.

Geeky Editing Note:
I then edited them in one file, my first 3 track editing session, in fact. Photo below for you audio geeks. I learned this week that this kind of audio silencing of the non speaking tracks is called "checkerboard edit". Thanks Ray!

@PodcastHelper is this a checkerboard? Is it still a checkerboard if the nonspeaking tracks are not silenced? Not sure why they wouldnt be but stoked to get a new #audio term under my belt so wanna use it correctly. @neoelemento this is where command-L or ctrl-L come in handy. pic.twitter.com/G9cEg9d04M
