I am a huge fan of Anung's podcast The Introvert's Bubble. Although I am not an introvert I do have introvert tendencies. So, Anung's gentle but blunt and practical episodes on how to be comfortable in your own introvert space instead of trying to be the vocal, talkative extrovert that is highly rewarded in many cultures (and our own, in the U.S.). I am a quiet extrovert, despite what my content creation catalog may suggest. Because I do need people around me to energize and am vocal when the spirit strikes me, people often think that when I am quiet I am hiding something. Nope. I just sometimes need space and time to think and calibrate a situation. This podcast helps me make peace with being this kind of extrovert.
So when she asked me to come on her new podcast, I don't wanna fit in, of course agree. Anung is a true Geopat, she is curious about the world and the cultures and thus people in it. This made her living abroad questions insightful and interesting for me as a guest. I hope you enjoy this episode.
