Yesterday we heard from Shannon Martin's thoughts on her Geopats Reflections episode from 2018 about her first year in Shanghai, China. Today, we have a clip from that original interview where Shannon shares her ideas on some things that she loved about China that may seem odd to people who have not been there and general misconceptions that people outside of China may think of the place.
Geopats Podcast Network 2 goals for November 2020:
1. Get 100 Listeners Per Episode Per Day:
Copy & paste the below social media post to help! If you are curious about #language, #books, #podcasting or #coffee globally, come test out the Geopats Podcasts during #NaPodPoMo this month. Each day we feature a guest & a clip from the shows. https://stephfuccio.com/napodpomo or #podcastrecommendation #geopats
2. Fundraise 30 coffees for the entire month (that's 1 coffee a day): https://www.buymeacoffee.com/geopats
This is an experimental month and today for the intro and outtro of this episode I was experimenting with a new recording technique: a clip microphone in a park. I was so excited to talk and walk that I ignored the cars near me a bit too much. Ugh. Apologies. Know that this will not be repeated AND it is just the intro and outtro. The clip from 2018 is much better audio quality.
Every day this month crazy Podcasters like myself will be posting a podcast episode. http://napodpomo.org/ and https://www.facebook.com/groups/napodpomo/.
All month I will be doing a range of experimental catch up episodes of previous guests from ALL of the Geopats Podcast Network (https://www.stephfuccio.com/podcasts).
