Today I wanted to share a few things about Podcast To Connect on LinkedIn. Here's how I did it.
✨ Here’s my post with key highlights:I started out by asking a short question in the first line because that’s what shows in the LinkedIn feed. Anything after that is hidden behind “see more”. So I like to make it short and clear. In this next part, I mentioned the podcast name but did NOT add a link. The link is in my profile, which is where people naturally go to when they read something that resonates with them. I also included a mention and a link to Dan from Podspike because I want more folks to benefit from their services. To finish things off, I shared the thoughts I’m struggling with as well as planted a few more hints about the podcast as well. And of course, no post is complete without a song reference. For me anyway. Sounds are how I connect, and music fits in with that so I do this often. By showing you this example I’m not saying it’s the formula to a perfect post on LinkedIn nor am I saying that you should mimic my writing style. This is my flavor of vulnerability that works for me. By “works” I mean helps start interesting conversations that can also help my business. You should find what works for you.
