Have you been podcasting for less than a year, feel like you have the hang of what to do to make your podcast okay BUT are so rushed constantly getting episodes out that you simply do not have time to reflect on them for improvement opportunities?
Creating a podcast takes time,creativity & reflection but too often we forget about this last part. That's where this workshop comes in. POD BACK, POD FORWARD
POD BACK, POD FORWARD Workshop includes 3 workshops over 1 month. (November 14, November 28, and December 12th). All sessions 7-9pm CET Europe/1pm EDT in the U.S. $60 introduction price includes all 3 sessions) Have you been podcasting for less than a year? Do you feel like you have the hang of what to do to make your podcast okay but are so rushed constantly getting episodes out that you simply do not have time to reflect on them for improvement opportunities? It’s important to create content but it is also important to review your content.
Why? 1. You want to hear the progress you’ve made with sound and content. 2. You’ve probably left audio notes of things that you like and don’t like about the episodes IN the episodes accidentally, messages in a bottle of sorts but for your earbuds. 3. You want to make notes of the things that are consistently causing pain points so you can make a deliberate plan to take care of them in future episodes.
This task can be daunting to do alone.
Wouldn't you rather have a group of like minded, friendly and thoughtful Podcasters to do it with?
POD BACK, POD FORWARD Workshops are designed to get you to listen to your podcast episodes as a listener would and get you thinking about what feels good and not so good about them, within a friendly and productive space. Open and honest discussions are supported within an intimate coaching group of 10 participants. As the Producer, Editor and Host of the podcasts in the Geopats Podcasting Network, Founder of #PodRevDay, a former Language Instructor of 15 years, an American serial expat currently living in Berlin, Germany, I bring a unique skill set of communication, connection and passion for the medium that, well, spilleth over. I have been running small podcasting accountability groups all year and these groups inspired me to start Pod Back, Pod Forward because of the power of talking through our podcasting processes.
Are you ready to Pod Back to Pod Forward?
Pod Back, Pod Forward sessions will dig into;
Session 1: Pod Community & Resources: We all approach our podworld a bit differently and sharing who we podtalk with and how we get our podcasting resources will get the juices flowing so that we can insert these valuable aspects of podcasting into the pain points that we will talk about in the next two sessions.
Session 2: Pod back: Looking back on your episodes as a whole and listening to specific parts like the intro, outro and a short clip of the body of the episode to see what has changed, what needs to change and the most important part: why the changes are needed/wanted.
Session 3: Pod Forward: This is where the realistic, slow and steady planning part of the workshop comes into play. We will spend time here making sure you leave with a clear, achievable plan on how to implement a few, key changes that you want to make to your podcast. Think of this like fun podcasting therapy sessions but without the crying. 3 workshops over 1 month (November 14, November 28, and December 12th)
