I am the worst language learner known to man but I think I am/was a rather good language teacher. How is this possible?
I ended up back in China in January 2017 and decided to get to the heart of this hypocrisy by using the language around me, simplified Mandarin Chinese, as a vehicle for this experiment! Although this YouTube channel is NOT meant as a language learning tool I will mention tools that I use along the way, so feel free to try them out yourself if you are a language learner also.
My goal is to document the methods I am using to learn how to read (and eventually probably speak) the Chinese language. How can a horrible language learner push through all of her failures and finally acquire a second language? I don't know yet but hopefully will find out as the vlogs go on. Come join me!
